It does not matter what side of the aisle you are on, if your stated policies move the needle in any way, shape, or form towards a more equitable society, they will spin it in the most negative way they possibly can.

Add to that, any thing that does not highlight or promote division, divisiveness, or "us/them" mentality reduces their profit. Therefore everything is presented in the most divisive way possible.

The corporate media WANTS conflict. They want the government to flip from red to blue to red to blue ad nauseam. It gives them something to talk about, it makes their owner's rich, and it maintains the current horrible status quo.
