All that is left is the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, the most misnamed media outlet in the country.

Nevertheless, it is the only state-wide paper. There is no other source doing local investigative reporting. There is no other source of local news. It's not half a loaf. It's barely the heel of a loaf but it's better than no local news at all.
