The Cronkite bulletin is indelible. Ive seen footage of it, and it is chilling how it goes from soap opera dialogue one second, to earth-shattering the next.
(I was in the next room taking my afternoon nap. I was 3.)

Thank you Freddie. I ate lunch at home a lot of times and watched the Guiding Light. Didn't have a choice.
