which in this house is with butter, brown sugar, and yes, marshmallows. YUCK. and since the people in this house that like these obviously have no class or taste I just use canned. I tried making them from fresh sweet potatoes one year but nobody cared so I don't bother with it. I am sure they would like them with pecans, but pecans are expensive and are needed for pecan pie, not wasted on a nasty overly sweet side dish that I don't eat. LOL
