3. I've had my eye ON a new car for a while, but can't afford it...

Cataract surgery is one of the more common types of surgeries done. With caveats, I can recommend it. I've had both of my eyes done and it was very successful for me with only minor pain/inconvenience. The eye drops were worse than the surgery for me. Not good at stuff like that. I have known others where it didn't go quite as well, but I'm seeing 20/20 now after a lifetime of wearing glasses for nearsightedness.
