Hello, fellow members of the DU Lounge!

My name is Dale Uhlmann. I am a retired adjunct college English instructor who had taught forty-two years at various colleges and universities in Ohio, where I had grown up before having moved to California's central valley over a year-and-a-half ago. I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Ohio ♥, including its sports teams (MLB being my favorite sport ⚾ , but I love living in such a beautiful and progressive state as California, with its orchards, canals, mountains, and fascinating history. I am a writer, professional editor, and film buff (especially silent movies, horror, science-fiction films, and classic comedies), and post a weekly movie review on www.svengoolie.com.
