3. Going on vacation to the beach in Texas we would leave before the sun came up. We were in north Texas (Dallas area)

so very far away and with no AC we would get very hot and very cranky. "she's touching me was a very common complaint." Thankfully we would finally see an A&W root beer stand, get a mug and know we were close.
