Unless Trump‘s taken it away, you still have the free annual credit report that allows you to see your credit accounts make sure you go to the legit free site

Pulled this from my state website.
“Order a free copy of your credit report from the only government-authorized website: www.annualcreditreport.com or call 877-322-8228. Other "free" credit report websites were designed to sell you products and services. You are allowed one report yearly from each of the three major participating bureaus”

Also you can set up with each of the three credit bureaus Transunion and Equifax have a free app. ( but I just use the website)
where you can create an account to go and check on things and lock/freeze your accounts
so far I haven’t been able to find a free site for experian that allows you to lock /freeze it? (sometimes it’s called freeze sometimes it’s called lock -
freezes is deeper, but with the new way is still as easy as the old lock on these sites where you just swipe left or right to lock or unlock it instantly.)
So I do pay for that sometimes some credit cards will do some of the same things like checking the dark web if your information is out there, etc.
