there was also a Ben Casey bracelet which I still have; the blouse/top kicked the bucket long ago
at my high school, there was an occurring fad amongst the boys to bleach their hair nearly white. ( one guy only bleached a stripe down the center of the top of his head, and left it longer than the rest of his hair. His nickname was "Skunk" after that)
Bleeding Madras cotton shirts, worn with jeans and WeeJuns (without socks)
Mohair sweaters
Keds with longer, squared toes
Humongeously teased hair
