Showing Original Post only (View all)One of the triplets was just accepted to medical school. [View all]
Time flies, and the triplets who were babies when I joined DU are now 25 years old and college graduates.
The eldest has wanted to go to medical school for years. He's spent the two years since college graduation working as a tech in a local ER, and loves the job. He's planning to go into emergency medicine, a specialty where doctors are always needed.
This kid literally cried when he received the acceptance. He'll be a great doctor with a compassionate bedside manner.
I am so damned proud of him.
A shout-out to the other triplets. The second kid is a civil engineer; the youngest and girl is working towards her MBA and will graduate in August.

I just hope that the entire healthcare system doesn't break down in the coming years.
