9. I have no idea whether Dobers have fallen off in popularity.

Sadly, for me, I currently live in the Memphis burbs and it seems the only dogs here are Pitties. No idea why. I've seen a few Labs at the dog park, but that's it here.

Pugs are cute little creatures! I'm not familier with either of your breeds. I'll go look them up!

Yes, I know what you mean about bigger dogs being hard to manage. Our Pittie is only 50 pounds, but that's like 50 pounds of dynamite when he lunges at something (who knows what? LOL) and starts pulling.

Our vet cautioned us, sharing that an older woman had a Rottie in her office and she looked out of the exam room and saw the woman literally flying like a cartoon - both feet off the floor -- being pulled by the dog.
