Thank you for fostering, but I hope there's another way to care for them than caging them. Cats, like all beings, need room to move. If kept caged too long, they'll suffer physically, mentally and emotionally. This is why good shelters have open "rooms" now, rather than cages. Cats can socialize with each other and with humans, and also have little nooks and crannies and beds to escape to for some quiet time.

If you absolutely must cage them, you'll have to figure out what works in your home. It's hard to make recommendations without knowing how many cats and/or kittens, how long they'll be with you, what kind of room they'll be in, why they need to be caged, etc.

Fostering is a wonderful thing! Thank you again.
