Economic Activism and Progressive Living

We need banks. We cannot try and initiate some sort of collapse that would be more catastrophic and in the resulting economic plunge Fascism would probably rise to power. Banks loan money and invest in production; these things are needed for a strong economy.

What we NEED is banking regulation! We need anti-usury laws , anti-foreclosure laws, Glass-Steagal, we NEED to outlaw derivatives and tax 1% of financial turnover via the Wall Street Sales Tax. If we can force the Dems to do this then our banking system will remain sustainable and effect our economy favorably.
