Jesus also said he didn't come to bring peace- rather the sword.

I say that war has evil effects, not that it is evil in itself- war, after all, being a nebulous concept. Wars can be necessary, as in WWII. But there are far more wars than needed!

Indeed, nationalism and American exceptionalism have been terrible influences upon our foreign policy, tempting us to arrogance.
