a (democratic) socialist. What an amazing turn of events. The sad part about that though is that there doesn't seem to be anybody of any stature really coming up behind him to carry that torch. Bernie is something of an anomaly. But he as opened doors for us to organize more people including for politics at the local level. I'm sure all the socialist parties and organizations are expecting a banner year for recruitment.
