1. Old electrical equipment should be powered up by someone

who knows what they're doing. I believe some of the parts, like paper capacitors, will be damaged if given full power all at once after years of sitting. The guys on TV just powering up the old things they find is very misleading. Wish I knew more about it and I hope you find a good home for it.
