My brother is a pro at it - made over $30,000 last year selling used books, DVDs, etc. He scours yard sales, flea markets and Goodwill Stores weekly for his inventory.

As you suggested, brer cat, even the casual seller can make money. For about 6 months I made around $50. a month selling off my CD inventory.
