For some time now, I've bought the books when they were first released. So I was determined to see the movie on the first day, as early as possible. I think you may be right--what real man could match my own Morelli or Ranger? I thought it was the cleverest swag ever when a few years ago Evanovich sold Ranger and Morelli air fresheners--cartoon figures of each that smelled like cupcake or Bulgari Green shower gel. I bought quite a few and gave them to my fan friends--keeping a bunch for myself, of course.

I do admit to wishing that Stephanie could grow up beyond the 32 years she's been stuck at for 18 books, but no matter how bad of a day I'm having, Stephanie's having a worse one. Friends like that have their uses.
