Only TCM would broadcast all Andy Hardy films in order of their release. An acquired taste perhaps, especially since there's a dwindling population alive to relish in the nostalgia of Louis B Mayer's idealized USA. The series was a huge money-maker for MGM and made Micky Rooney a superstar.
