Are there any knitters/crocheters out there looking for a way to utilize [View all]

all your leftover yarn? There may be a hospice in your area that would welcome gifts of handmade hats, blankets, etc.

My son and daughter in law volunteer at a local hospice and approached me about making items for donation. They both lost their fathers to cancer and both had been in hospice care.

I've made a couple of small afghans so far by completing a couple of unfinished projects and
using leftover yarn.

It occurred to me that this is something that fellow DUers might want to check out in their own communities.
