I wonder the occasion that brought this guitar army to the stage.

Obviously taped from backstage with a Handicam with pieces of fan footage from the crowd spliced in. I was initially disappointed that anyone would record these six string masters from behind, but it did give a perspective from one holding a VIP pass. I guess.
The audio must have been supplied straight from the sound board. It was way better than a hand held video recorder back then.
