the U2 fan (I became a real fan after seeing Rattle & Hum). We lined up outside of a Tower Records in Los Angeles. When it was midnight on the east coast, music stores on the west coast were allowed to start selling the albums.

It might be hard for young folks today to understand how exciting it was when these highly-anticipated albums were released--what a (social) event it could be.
