I'm otherwise something of a hipster music snob and don't much care for the slick music product coming out of Nashville the last few decades, but I'll give Urban some love exactly because he's no joke on the guitar. He's also, shall we say, pretty easy on the eyes 
Come to think of it, that's also why I ended up coming around to John Mayer about 14 years ago (along with his album Born and Raised). Now I'm a pretty big Mayer fan honestly. Didn't hurt his stock with me that he ended up in Dead & Co for years. If those guys will let you stand-in for Jerry, it says something
