4. Yes, it's really cool to see the area around the Alamo.

I've only seen closeups of the building before. I appreciate seeing the setting and getting a feel for the scale of things, especially how small the Alamo itself is.

Another thing that struck me is how different the Alamo looks from a distance. In the first pic, it looks much lighter in color, kind of cream-colored. But the closer you get, the darker it looks, and the more striking the variations in color and types of building materials are.

This is aascinating series of photos, moonshinegnomie. Well done!
