I went on two Yellow Bikes tours in the middle 20-aughts. The Amsterdam city tour, and the Dutch countryside tour. And a few years before that, in June 2000, I went on a different Dutch countryside tour by a company called Let's Go! All of those tours in that beautiful country were truly memorable. I swear to God, that whole country is literally picture-postcard pretty.

About your drawbridge shot, when I was on the Yellow Bikes countryside tour, we stopped at a hand-cranked drawbridge that the guide cranked up and back down for us to show us how it worked. It might be the same one that's in your picture, although of course I did not see it from that perspective.

Yes, I have pictures, but they're all on the hard drives of old computers that don't work any more and I can't get to them. Some of those pictures (as well as other stuff on those computers) are precious, priceless, irreplaceable. I'm thinking of taking those computers to a computer repair shop and asking if they can put the contents of the hard drives on CDs or thumb drives for me. Rescue those irreplaceable memories.
