To the extra lens. I had a Cannon AE1 (early model) and two lenses that I hauled all over a ten day working tour in England, man, what a lot of weight to walk around with. But then there's my sister, who fancies herself a professional hobby photographer, sells a few cards and calendars, inherited a full set of some German lenses and she hauls those all over the planet. Lots of glass and, she says, she gets in trouble over the weight sometimes but she usually gets away with it.

I could never do that. I have enough issue carrying around my older point/shoot with a serious zoom.

My choice is macro about 80% of the time, if I had to choose, I'd have that with me most of the time.
