I'm giving up on NBC's "Good Girls" (some spoiling) [View all]

I really liked the beginning of the 1st season last year; 3 middle-aged women teaming up to pull a one time heist to get out of financial difficulties. But they get involved with a local bad guy and all their lives begin to go down hill. The show went from a fairly light hearted comedy/drama crime series, that by the end was a dark and brooding drama.

I liked the 3 actresses playing the leads; sisters Beth and Annie and their friend Ruby. By the end of the 1st season I was not liking them as much. But I thought I'd give the 2nd season a chance. Well it really didn't get any better and the final straw was when Beth ends up in bed with the crook that has pretty much ruined their lived, beat her husband almost to death and has held their lives in his hand if they don't do what he demands. I don't even like the 3 women anymore for what they've become.

So I deleted the series from my dvr recording list. Just wasn't enjoying it anymore and frankly because the 3 have become so distasteful, I really don't care what happens to them.
