loved her in every role I ever saw her in... sad that she passed away in 2020.

Emma Peel... they wanted a partner for John Steed that appealed to men in the audience. M. Appeal.

She certainly did that, but was never a "damsel in distress" in the Avengers, if anything she was more "rough and tumble" than her counterpart.

I loved the entire show. Was sad when she left the series.
