7. It's a mistake to politicize an actor's acting ability

I'm not a fan of "reboots" in general simply because they're almost always a cringe-worthy failure. But an actor always wants to work and, in some cases, needs the money. We all eventually learn that you can't go to the "Stop at Willoughby."

There are a lot of talented actors who are republicans (not MAGA of course) and you can't judge their acting skills based on their politics. A good actor plays a character as it is written. Examples include a lot of A-List actors past and present. A few that come to mind are/were: Michael Caine, Kurt Russell, Rip Torn, Jane Russell, John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart, Gary Cooper, Cary Grant and Gene Autry. I'm sure there are many, many more. Politics doesn't play a big role in most people's lives anyway.
