I am very skeptical of the polls, and the media coverage of this recall.
One poll had the recall winning by 11 points, which was probably an outlier, since other pollsters are marking it as a dead heat, but I question even those.
I think assumptions are being made which have a good chance of being wrong.
The media keeps pushing the theme that republicans are more enthusiastic than Democrats, and that special elections "always" have low turnouts
The fact that 45% of the registered voters are Democrats, and something like 23% are republicans should provide an advantage to us. In addition, all registered voters will receive a postage paid mail in ballot, so the voter doesn't even have to go to the polls to vote. Just drop it in the mail box, or a drop box.
California insures all votes get counted
