1. Here's a great article from The Guardian on the Watch Duty app.

Included in the article is news that they are planning on covering other emergencies in the future, not just fire. So this app is going to be useful for anyone, anywhere.

I'm sending this article to everyone I know. I downloaded the app when it first came out, even though it didn't cover my area. I knew they would eventually get to Southern California.

Fires are the only reason I joined Twitter. That was the way you got all your fire information. It was so easy to leave Twitter, because Watch Duty sends the info to you.
