My wife and I are 75. We both got our first Moderna shots through Publix, her on Friday and me the week before. Publix was the only game in town in our county when the vaccinations started. We went on their website M, W, F at 7 am for weeks without success. Between us we spent more than 30 hours "waiting in line" watching our computer screens refresh every 60 seconds.

Meanwhile, more people were being removed from the queue and more vaccines were arriving. By the time we got through to be scheduled I was reading that more than 50% of people in the over-65 group had already received a shot. As soon as we got scheduled with Publix we started getting calls to schedule a shot from our county Department of Health where we were also signed up. Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, and other pharmacies are also starting to give shots.

I think the situation is improving rapidly and I hope you are able to get scheduled promptly
