I spent almost 7 hours in the ER with my son last week. Almost 7 hours!! before he saw a doctor. I knew it was a blood clot in his leg. It was a frustrating experience. It ended up in his lungs. But that is what we are we are facing in many ATL hospitals. Lack of staff, long wait times. It will be even worse when AMC closes. I shudder to think what would happen if Grady closes.
