...the rightwing is hoping these delays will take TOO MUCH time, and would then give them the needed basis to begin court challenges that will inevitably lead to the supreme court.

I don't understand your insistance on defending a tactic that is obviously, to me anyway (and plenty of others), a rightwing ploy to disrupt our elections.
