first floor to make sure that we could get to the basement if needed, and watching the dot on the TV signifying the one particular tornado as it tore across the northern parts of the North STLMO metro area, the Edwardsville / Amazon Warehouse was the worst of the damages from this one particular tornado, but there were other areas hit too by this long tracked tornado too.

Other areas hit were (in extreme NW part of Metro STLMO) Augusta and moving towards Weldon Spring, in an area 2.5 miles west of Defiance, which then continued East across the river eventually into Illinois (Edwardsville). One elderly lady was killed near Defiance.

And we didn't have any heavy rains, winds, or anything like that either (in the urban core of south STLMO). It's amazing what these storms can do.

Someone did catch a picture of these storms, and actually caught two tornados on the ground, side by side, so there is speculation that this was a twin set of tornadoes on the ground at the same time.
