Chicago early voting kicks off Thursday as primary election nears [View all]

Voters in the city of Chicago can now cast their ballots in the upcoming Illinois primary election, as the city’s supersite opened Thursday.

Those voters interested in casting ballots early for the election can do so at the designated downtown supersite, located at 137 South State Street, or on the sixth floor of the Chicago Board of Elections’ offices, located at 69 West Washington Street.

Early voting began in numerous other suburban counties last week, with the primary election approaching on March 17.

For early voting, all Chicago residents are eligible to cast ballots at the city’s supersite, according to the Board of Elections.
