Marion county is usually the bluest part of this ruby red state so they isolated it. The northern part of it used to be part of my district, 5th, and while that district still votes predominantly red there were some healthy challenges, even to Dan Burton, in the past. Now almost half of the 5th districts voters are concentrated in very red very wealthy Hamilton county, home to the infamous Moms for Liberty Hitler flyer, so we're fucked. There is no way those assholes in that county will ever even look at a Democrat and they have a completely unfair hold on the entire district. It's this way now all over this state as we are one of the most gerrymandered in the country. It really sucks what gerrymandering can do to an electorate and we must stop it.
