In case you missed it, the marriage amendment died yesterday. [View all]
Yes, it may be resurrected next year. But the civil unions language was just too much for the Senate, which passed on it. Since neither house could agree on language, which is what it takes for constitutional amendments to get on the ballot, this issue is moot.
