that was the Obama year and we had a stuffed room. We both started at 7.

I ran the caucus that year. While I was going over various announcements etc. the Repugs had taken their vote and they were gone. They were pretty much done around 7:05. We got done around 9:30.

A friend who was sitting by the room divider told me they handed out slips of paper and pens, wrote down a name, handed them up to the front, counted the votes and went home.

We then opened up the building and spread out.
