a half century ago we were taught in school that the wealthy provide jobs so when they are taxed they can't provide as many jobs. There are so many people who aren't wealthy that we use most of the government's services so we should be the ones to pay for those services.

I bet a lot of the kids that I went to school with still believe that and, from what I see, I bet a lot of today's students are taught the same lies.
