I’m not an expert on firearms, but I’ve been around them enough to question how an excited retriever could have pulled the trigger.

Disabling the safety, yes. That’s often just a button on the side that could easily be switched by the dog’s weight.

But the dog pulling the trigger? How is that even possible?
