My local MB is smaller than the newer ones but provides far better prices than other local grocery stores.
I will, however, give praise to a fairly new market in my area. PriceRite. I drove by many times but did not stop.
Within the past 2 months, I made it a point to check this store. It is a slightly longer drive for me but every time I went, I was amazed at the quality of their fruit and produce. The store is making a big effort to provide the best prices and quality in the area. Kudos to PriceRite. I hope they keep it up.
As a little bonus, they have a big section of spices in small packages...no more need for the jars of stuff at $3.99 and you only need about a half teaspoon. Lots of basic stuff like butter, sugar, flour etc. at the lowest prices I have seen in ages.

Both stores deserve credit for a job well done.
