4. This asset seizure has been going on for decades and the courts back it. I think it's bullshit.

I usually keep a hundred dollar bill stashed in my wallet. Who is to say I won't buy drugs with it? So if someone has a lot of money on them then they are guilty of......what? Having a lot of money on them? What is the legal threshold before you are considered guilty of a crime that hasn't happened yet? Cops have been doing this on I-95 for decades, elsewhere also.


Sure, it is possible someone will be using that money to by drugs. In other words, dollars are legal tender in this country unless you have a lot of them. Then it's a license for someone to steal them from you.
