I love old factory buildings.

Especially when they've been converted to housing and the old brick is left in place, and the wooden floors are refinished.

There are plenty of old factories out where I live (rural setting) that are slowing rotting away.

That's one problem. Second problem is that the once active factories are no longer contributing to the tax base, so we residents have to pick up the slack.
