against casinos, and hope they get one or two out my way.

Yes, they could have stayed in CT, but all that means is that people with gambling problems feed their addictions someplace else.

Also, even if there are no casinos, there are still people spending tons of money on lottery/Powerball tickets. My mom lives in FL, where they don't have Keno, so when she comes up here, she always plays.

People who want to gamble on greyhound racing can go to NH. Actually, I have a bigger problem with greyhound racing than I do with casinos. What happens with those dogs is not pretty, and I do not believe in exploitation of animals for any purpose where they could be injured or killed or mistreated in any way.

As for the jobs factor...yes. Someone who's been out of work for months and months, unable to afford basic necessities, not getting health coverage...I'm not going to judge that person for where s/he works.
