1. KA has a history of pro-Confederate rituals.

I recall that they would dress up like Confederate soldiers, wave the stars & bars, etc. Don’t know if that idiocy continues, but it was happening into the 1970s, at least.

Any politician who was a KA brother at various Southern universities when these customs were in place is probably feeling a mite nervous all of a sudden.

After a minute of research, I see according to an article on AL.com that the fraternity officially banned Confederate garb at parades starting in 2010. I wonder how much of this horseshit they’re still doing in secret.
