may be a trumper license plates]. Normal Va. plates have a white background. Suspect 'trumper' plates have a darkish yellow background, with 'don't tread on me' or 'choose life' on them.

[Inside note here, I profile such drivers, wary of them doing something stupid. Anecdotally, I think I'm justified - but that too is suspect].
