purple, turning blue state. The principle blue areas are Charlottesville [U of Va areas], tri-cities [beaches], and booming Northern Virginia [where the 'burbs are stretching out over 30 miles, Amazon types a-coming].

Those sickening, redneck, confederate flag waving, anti-socialist legislators, often campaign on their hate for the blue areas - but love to proclaim, and keep those blue dollars, flowing down Interstate 95; [to their declining counties].
