Glacier County superintendent of schools accused of 5th DUI in Great Falls [View all]

Superintendent of Glacier County schools Darryl Duane Omsberg was arrested June 6 in Great Falls and charged with driving under the influence 5th offense, which is a felony.

According to charging documents, the Montana Highway Patrol pulled over Omsberg, in the area of Central Avenue West and 14th Street after the officer allegedly witnessed him weaving in between traffic lanes.

The trooper noted that Omsberg appeared dazed, his eyes were bloodshot and glassy, his clothing was disheveled and he had a fresh bleeding cut on his forehead.

The report described a strong smell of alcohol coming from the car, and the trooper observed that Omsberg’s answers to questions were delayed.
