Listening To You:

This past month, I’ve enjoyed traveling across the state. I’ve heard lots of different stories along the way and appreciate hearing your views and opinions so I can use them to make the best decisions possible when I head back to Washington next week. At every event – from Community Coffees to ag policy meetings to touring drought affected areas – your message has been clear: Washington needs to stop political partisanship and adopt real policies that help Americans get back to work, reduce our government’s out-of-control spending, and provide our farmers and ranchers with the certainty they need and the risk management support they deserve. I understand that in order for our country to tackle these great challenges we must set aside politics and find a way to come together to get things done for the American people.

Beyond the obligatory "out-of-control spending" reference, I have the impression that Nebraskans may have told Johannes that the Party of No needs to stop it with the stonewalling. What do you think?
